Shop Terms: Orders, Revisions & Refunds

These shop terms apply to products bought from the Perfect Web Designer online shop at perfectwebdesigner.com.au/shop. Perfect Web Designer is operated by Sartajpal Singh, ABN 41 760 762 539, 4 Huon Street, Tarneit VIC 3029. Our general terms and conditions and privacy policy also apply.

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these shop terms limits those rights. If our work has a major failure, you are entitled to a refund or to have it fixed; for minor failures, we will fix the problem within a reasonable time.

1. Prices and payment

All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. Payment is taken in full at checkout through our secure payment provider (Stripe). A tax invoice is emailed to you when you pay.

2. Your brief and files

After payment, you’ll be asked to complete a short brief and upload your files. Work starts once we have a complete brief. You confirm that you own, or have permission to use, any logos, images, text and other material you send us, and that the business name and wording you provide are accurate.

3. Turnaround

Turnaround times shown on product pages are typical estimates in business days (Monday to Friday, excluding Victorian public holidays), counted from receipt of your complete brief. They are not guaranteed delivery dates. Projects with feedback rounds depend on how quickly you respond. We’ll tell you promptly if we expect a delay.

4. Revisions

Each product lists the number of included revision rounds. A revision round is one consolidated set of feedback on the current design. Changes to the scope after work begins (for example a different business name, new documents, or a completely new direction after concepts are approved) may need an additional revision round or a new order. We’ll always confirm any extra cost with you before doing the work.

5. Cancellations and refunds

  • Before work starts: you can cancel for a full refund. Work starts when we begin designing from your brief; we’ll confirm by email.
  • After work has started or files have been delivered: because our products are custom design services made specifically for you, we don’t offer refunds for change of mind.
  • Defective work: if the work we deliver doesn’t match what the product page describes, or is faulty, tell us within 30 days of delivery and we will fix it. If we can’t fix it within a reasonable time, we’ll provide a full or partial refund. This is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
  • Inactive orders: if we haven’t received your brief or feedback 60 days after your order (despite at least two reminders), we may close the order. If no work had started, we’ll refund you; otherwise we’ll deliver the latest version of the work.

To cancel or request a refund, email info@perfectwebdesigner.com.au or call 0494 358 000 with your order number. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method.

6. Ownership and licensing

When your order is complete and paid in full, you own the copyright in the final logo and final templates created for you, and you may use them for any business purpose. We retain ownership of unused concepts, drafts and our own design methods. Fonts, stock images or software used in a design remain subject to their own licences; we’ll tell you if a paid licence is needed. We will only show your work in our portfolio with your permission.

7. Trademarks and third-party platforms

We create original designs but don’t carry out trademark searches or registrations. If you intend to register a trademark, seek advice from IP Australia or a trademark attorney. Xero, ServiceM8, Microsoft Word, Google and other platforms are trademarks of their owners. Perfect Web Designer is an independent design service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by them. Platform features can change; we design templates to work with each platform as it operates at the time of delivery.

8. Wording, legal and compliance content

We design and format documents and forms. You are responsible for the content you supply, including terms and conditions, legal, safety and compliance wording. We do not provide legal or compliance advice.

9. File storage

We keep final files for at least 12 months after delivery, so you can ask for another copy. Files you upload are used only to complete your order and are handled in line with our privacy policy.
